I’m very excited to have another piece featured in mindbodygreen. This one is special for quite a few reasons.
- I’ve come to learn the importance of putting yourself first during my own pregnancy experience. I will also note here that this is an ongoing process and journey. Even with powerful reinforcements of tools, resources, love and support from others encouraging you to put yourself first, it can be an insanely challenging thing. So that’s why I keep the dialogue going, write articles like the one I did for mindbodygreen and set up reminders (like the tips listed in the article) for myself to be true to who I am and resist the temptation to give everything over to motherhood, or to any other life change or experience.
- This article highlights a lot of what I do in one-on-one coaching and what Unleash Your Humble Badass is about. They are evergreen tips for staying in touch with yourself. And again, this is not exclusive to being pregnant. But it sure is relevant during the stage of pregnancy, so I love it for that.
- Everyone can benefit from the 5 points in the article. If we all took time for them, we’d have healthier babies and more fulfilled adults in my opinion.
